Doctor Who?Doctor Who?
One night I looked up at the sky,
And what did I see?
A big, blue, police box,
Flying down towards me.
The box came from nowhere,
It made the wind gush through the trees,
The door opened up and a man came out,
Saying, "Hello, I am The Doctor. Who might you be?"
I ask, "What is this box?"
He said, "It's a TARDIS. Time And Relative Dimensions In Space,"
I ask, "What does it do?"
He said, "It will take you anywhere in the universe. Just name the time and the place."
I looked inside the blue box,
It's bigger on the inside,
I asked, "You can fly this thing?"
He said, "Of course I can!" and he straighten his bowtie.
I said, "I want to come with you."
He looked and said, "There're a lot of weird things out there. Are you sure you want to know?"
I pondered for a minute and smile saying, "Yes!"
He smiled and said, "Then away we go!"
Doctor Who?He walks a lonely road today
And every day before
He is the wanderer,
The man without a home,
The lonely God.
Every day a new adventure
A new horizon to see.
Companions come, companions go
But they don't know his lonliness
But he moves on regardless.
The oncoming storm the Daleks shout,
But the Doctor doesn't care about that.
He is unafraid of them and clever,
He is witty and outsmarts us all;
But a Curse stops him being remembered.
Rose and Sarah both know him,
World's they've seen with you.
Here you are remembered,
Our friend but Doctor Who?
For the Doctorthere he stood like a stranger
amidst all the panic and the danger
he saw them all try to run
he watched them all with grief in his eyes
as he could do nothing but watch them die
though to save them all he tried
he could not break the laws of space and time
"what is meant to happen must always be"
with a heavy heart and conscience said he
filled with regret as he told them he was sorry
countless planets, the whole universe he saved
from innumerable threats and villains depraved
rarely a thank you did he ever get
he never required one, on him you could always depend
the doctor was always there, the universe to mend
action and adventure he wanted to share
sights and wonders beyond compare
companionship was all he asked for
he never really wanted more
on through the ages he constantly travels
the only one to stop space and time before it unravels
he tries to make the best of everything
though at his death, his funeral dirge the planets themselves will sing
